This made me smile and LOL all the way.

Jazz for Cows (by newhot5)

So, how long until the RIAA or ASCAP come hassle him? Any bets?

“The Very Prettiest Pain”

I’ve been a fan of Des Ark for a long while and I’m happy to see Aimée back in action. I think it’s inherently impossible for her to stop writing and playing music; the fact that she shares it with the world is our gain. :)

A pleasant surprise from the El Ten Eleven concert I attended last night was the opening band The Globes. I ended up buying their CD [Future Self] and I was not disappointed.

“Ghost” Live @ Red Eyed Fly (SXSW 2011) (by The Globes)

I just got a whiff of this band and I like what I hear; very uplifting. I think I need to go learn more about this band.

Lawn (by Collections of Colonies of Bees)

A friend just shared this with me; pretty epic if you ask me…

Mario Medley (by Technodrome)

Reaper has been the studio software for me for a few years now (Sonar convert, actually, due to x64 OS upgrade). If you record audio on your PC or Mac you owe it to yourself to try it out. The license is super-cheap (seriously, check out the ‘competitors’) and super-reasonable.
There’s a list of features that I love about this app, but I won’t bore you; just note this: the largest download (Mac 64-bit) is only 11MB. How they pack so many features into such a small download is beyond me. Try it out, you won’t regret it!

Zoe Keating Plays”Escape Artist”

I just discovered this brilliant artist…and I just discovered that I need to seriously upgrade my looping setup.

Check out (and buy!) her music here.
