Looks like my muse decided to come back and visit recently. I hope she stays. I’ll call this one ‘Everything Is Going to be OK’

Untitled (20090906)

I was all fine and dandy with my x64 version of Windows 7 until I fired up my x32 version of Sonar Home Studio and nothing worked quite as it should*. Thankfully, I found this app called REAPER which happens to have a x64 version and allowed me to record this song idea. I’m considering giving my $60 to them instead. As much as I hate the idea of going through the learning curve, seems it might be worth it. It does have a pretty slick interface. :)

*Disclaimer: The full version of Sonar does support x64 but it’s features and price range are well above what I need.

What do you think of the song (so far)?

Not sure this is terribly interesting, but I found this sheet with notes I was taking while recording/mixing the demo. I’m surprised I didn’t put a ‘more cowbell’ note in there. :P

I was a little unhappy with the artwork on for my cover, so I’ve updated it a bit. I’m no designer, but I think it’s a little better.

It’s available to stream & download over at music.andreworks.com. I also accept donations if you were so inclined. :)

I’ve been working on making a physical CD of my demo for shows, here’s a test print I ran of the backside. All I need to do is complete the actual print on the CD itself. :) Excitement abounds!

My demo CD is now available for download. I also accept donations of any amount, if you were so inclined. A donation gets you higher quality files (including lossless compression!).
Bandcamp FTW!

Let me know what you think! @ramen49
